Showroom visualizers, ordering systems and card terminals all depend on the store connection.
A showroom on one side of the business, installation crews on the other. Crews are on site, the office is somewhere else, and the job only moves when the two can reach each other.
Each of the three has to be right, and they are usually bought from different companies. We compare them together.
Showroom visualizers, ordering systems and card terminals all depend on the store connection.
Installers confirm measurements and send completion photos from the customer's home.
Card payments in the showroom put you under payment security rules.
By the Telecom Agency advisory team
Saturday is the busiest day in a flooring showroom. It is also the day the internet goes down, the visualizer screens go blank and the card terminal stops in the middle of a sale.
An advisor adds a cellular backup that takes over on its own, and separates the payment equipment from the guest Wi-Fi so one cannot interfere with the other. Then the advisor stays involved: when the main provider's contract comes up for renewal, somebody who knows the market is there to reopen the price.
An illustrative scenario based on situations common among flooring installers. It does not describe a specific client.
The shortlist depends on your addresses. Open a provider to check availability where you work.
Tell us where you work and what you run. An advisor brings back internet, wireless and security options side by side, at no cost to you.
